Yoga classes held at Van UMC Fellowship Hall. These classes are fantastic for women and men and helpful for many reasons.
The regular yoga class is held at 10 am on Tuesdays and Fridays. This class includes stretching and floor exercises to help maintain flexibility, balance, and build strength. Nothing too hard, as the class is presented on many levels.
The chair yoga class is held at 11:15 am on Tuesdays and Fridays. This class is for folks who are not as agile, so as the name implies, it is done either sitting on a chair or using a chair for balance. Hand weights are used to build strength.
The first class is free, additional classes are $5 each. All are welcome to come check out how yoga can help you maintain your health as you age. The only equipment needed is a yoga mat and comfortable clothes.
