Wednesday, on the Bill Riley Show, his tip of the day on saving money in 2014 was “Check out books at your local library.”

*Patrons of Van Community Library saved $65,905.20 in 2013 by checking out books and movies, so save your bucks, come visit your local library.
*There is no charge for library cards, books and movies are checked out for a two week period.  If the library doesn’t have what you are looking for, we will see what we can do to obtain it.
*If you have any DVD’s or videos you would like to donate, the library would greatly appreciate them.
*Story Time is at 10 AM every Wednesday, Moms bring your preschoolers and join the fun with Ms Allison and Ms Donja.
*Stories are read to the children, then there’s craft time, followed by a snack, all this at no charge to you.

*Volunteers are needed.  If you are interested, please call Wanda or Jane at 903-963-7942.
